Datasensing S65-M Series

The S65-M Series delivers a smart blend of long-range detection, compact mechanical format, and industrial robustness, using TOF background-suppression technology to reliably detect objects even in front of challenging backgrounds or shiny surfaces.

Design & Functionality

  • The S65-M uses a compact square housing (50 × 50 × 24/25 mm), making integration into dense machine layouts or conveyor systems easier. 
  • It supports nominal sensing distances up to ~5 m on white targets, and ~3.5 m on black (~6% reflectivity) — enabling true long-span background suppression detection. 
  • Technology: Time-of-Flight (TOF) impulse measurement with infrared LED emission (safer than classical laser) plus an embedded green LED pointer to ease alignment. 
  • Connectivity: Dual independent outputs—programmable and selectable—plus variants with IO-Link V1.1, offering modern interface flexibility.
