Datasensing TFM Series
The TFM Series offers a sophisticated family of miniaturised time-of-flight sensors, engineered for precise distance measurement, space-constrained installation, and robust industrial performance. With model versions supporting nominal sensing distances from ~180 mm up to ~600 mm (depending on variant) and a resolution as fine as 1 mm, the series provides exceptional measurement precision, flexible output configuration, and rugged construction.
Design & Functionality
- The TFM sensors are built in an extremely compact housing (approx. 13 Γ 31.2 mm for many models) and are completely resin-filled, delivering excellent protection against moisture and contaminants.
- Optical measurement is based on Time-of-Flight (ToF) principle with an infrared Class 1 laser emitter, giving both distance and presence detection capability.
- Nominal sensing distances:
