The Inductive AC Series delivers reliable metal-object detection in AC-powered industrial environments. With support for wide supply voltage, robust housing sizes, and excellent measurement stability, these sensors are designed for industrial-grade performance in AC systems.

Design & Functionality

• Available in three principal housing sizes (M8, M12, M18/M30) to suit different mounting setups and target sizes.
• Wide usable sensing ranges: approximately 4 mm for M8 size, 6 mm for M12 size, and up to 10 mm for M18/M30 size models. 
• Support for voltage and current analogue output (in M12 and M18/M30 models) offers flexibility in system-integration and feedback. 
• Operating voltage covers a broad AC range (20…250 V AC / 50…60 Hz), enabling use directly in mains-powered applications without DC supply. 
• Engineered with high resolution, excellent temperature stability, and robust protections (reverse polarity, short-circuit auto-reset, ripple tolerance) for reliable operation under industrial conditions.

Beam Pitch Options

• Nominal sensing distances listed are ~4 mm for M8, ~6 mm for M12, and ~10 mm for M18/M30 models. 
• The sensor offers repeat accuracy better than 5% and hysteresis under ~10%, ensuring precise and stable detection across varying conditions. 

Intrinsic Synchronism

• The electronics are fully integrated: the time before availability is under ~300 ms, and the device uses built-in synchronisation and protective functions, reducing external wiring complexity and enhancing reliability. 
• With its broad AC voltage input and internal protection, the sensor is designed for ease of installation in standard AC-powered automation systems without additional wiring complexity.
