Datasensing UR+DG Series

The UR+DG Series offers a two‐component sensing solution composed of a miniature sensor head (DG series) and a dedicated amplifier/control unit (UR). This configuration provides highly configurable detection, long-distance ability, and precision control for demanding industrial applications, especially where space is limited and environmental conditions are harsh.

Design & Functionality

• The miniature DG sensor head is available in Ø10 mm or M12 housing sizes, enabling installation in very tight or machine-embedded spaces while providing ranges of up to 75 m. 
• The UR amplifier/control unit offers:
  • LED indicators for alignment stability, output state, and operating voltage. 
  • Relay output plus a dedicated alarm relay output allowing advanced fault or presence signaling. 
  • Dual timer functionality with independent adjustments (e.g., ON-delay and OFF-delay) enabling fine control of sensing logic. 
• The head unit features IP67 protection, making it suitable for heavy industrial use; the system supports IR emission, high ambient light immunity (20,000 lux interference limit) and is CE-approved. 
• The system allows mounting the miniature sensor head directly in harsh locations while placing the control unit in a convenient cabinet or panel, thus combining small footprint sensing with full control capacity.

• Beam divergence ±5° typical, enabling long-range detection while maintaining narrow field. 
• This variety allows you to choose the set-up that suits your application’s space constraints, target distance and mounting style.

   Important: The UR+DG system supports mini-head formats with long-range detection, enabling applications where standard sensor heads cannot fit or cannot reach.

Intrinsic Synchronism

• The UR amplifier ensures that the miniature DG head’s output is processed with internal timers and logic, no external module needed.
• Multiple UR+DG systems can coexist thanks to clear alignment feedback and dedicated alarm/universal outputs, supporting dense sensor layouts in automation cells.
