Festo’s MS Series suited for compressed-air preparation offers a complete concept for ensuring clean, regulated and lubricated air supply in automation systems. The modular design allows you to build individual service units or pre-assembled combinations, enabling tailored solutions for everything from standard applications to high-performance machine installations.

Design & Functionality
These units combine the three core functions of air preparation: filtration (to remove condensate, particles and oil aerosols), pressure regulation (to maintain stable downstream pressure) and lubrication (to add a precisely dosed oil mist when required). The housings are cast aluminium for durability, bowls are metal or polycarbonate with a bowl-guard for safety, and the modules adhere to a standard grid size so they can be easily mounted or replaced.

The MS Series covers five grid sizes (MS2, MS4, MS6, MS9, MS12) offering very high nominal flow rates while compacting the footprint of installation.

A wide selection of variants is available: different port/thread sizes (e.g., GΒΌ, GΒ½, G1, G2), two filtration grades (5 Β΅m or 40 Β΅m), manual/automatic condensate drains, and compatibility with UL/ATEX certification options.
